General Questions

We offer classes for all ages! Our youngest students start at 3 years old in our specially designed "Tiny Dancers" program. For children ages 3-5, we have creative movement classes that introduce basic dance concepts through play. Older children, teens, and adults can join any of our regular classes appropriate for their skill level.

Not at all! We welcome complete beginners in all of our dance styles. Our classes are structured to accommodate different skill levels, and our instructors are experienced at teaching students who are new to dance. We offer specific "Beginner" classes for those with no prior experience, where we focus on fundamentals in a supportive, non-intimidating environment.

For your first class, wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement such as leggings, sweatpants, or shorts with a t-shirt or tank top. For footwear:
  • Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary: Clean sneakers or jazz shoes
  • Ballet: Ballet slippers (we have some available to borrow for first-timers)
  • Salsa: Smooth-soled shoes or dance sneakers
  • Bollywood: Barefoot or jazz shoes
Once you decide to continue, we can provide more specific recommendations for your chosen style.

  2. Contact us to reserve your spot
  3. Arrive 15 minutes early to complete a brief registration
We recommend trying a class that matches your interest and experience level.

Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair to both students and instructors:
  • Class Cancellations: You can cancel a class up to 12 hours before without penalty. Late cancellations may forfeit the class credit.
  • Membership Cancellations: Monthly memberships can be cancelled with 30 days notice. Annual memberships have specific terms outlined in the contract.
  • Refunds: We offer full refunds within 7 days of purchase if you haven't attended any classes. After 7 days or after attending classes, refunds are prorated based on usage.
  • Medical Issues: We accommodate medical situations with a doctor's note, offering credits or extended memberships.
Please review our complete policy or contact us for specific situations.

Classes & Schedule

We maintain small class sizes to ensure personalized attention and a quality learning experience:
  • Beginner Classes: 10-15 students maximum
  • Intermediate/Advanced Classes: 8-12 students maximum
  • Children's Classes (ages 3-7): 6-10 students maximum
  • Private/Semi-private Lessons: 1-4 students
Our class size limits allow instructors to provide individual feedback while maintaining a supportive group dynamic. Popular classes may have waitlists, so we recommend registering in advance.

Consistency is key to progress in dance! We recommend:
  • Beginners: 1-2 classes per week to build foundational skills
  • Intermediate Dancers: 2-3 classes per week to refine technique and learn more complex choreography
  • Advanced Dancers: 3+ classes per week, plus supplemental training (conditioning, flexibility, etc.)
  • Children (ages 5-12): 1-2 classes per week, depending on age and interest
Many of our students find that attending regularly (even once a week) leads to noticeable improvement within 4-6 weeks. We also encourage practicing at home using instructional videos we provide.

Yes, we understand that life happens! Our make-up class policy:
  • Membership holders can schedule make-up classes within the same month
  • Make-up classes must be scheduled in advance through our portal or front desk
  • You can attend a similar level class in any style as a make-up
  • Class pass holders can extend expiration by one week for each missed class with advance notice
  • No make-ups for "no-shows" without prior notification
We recommend communicating with your instructor if you know you'll miss a class. For extended absences (illness, travel), contact us to discuss options.
